Hi All, wisdom needed!

I have two lengths of outdoor LED lights, 50 metres each. I want to put them up on the new colourbond fences that surround the yard.

Make it festive!

Is anyone aware of a pre-made clips that will attach to the underside of the top lip of the colorbond rail that will allow the lights to hang nicely? Google seems to have nothing, nor AliExpress. I suspect Im using the wrong search terms, perhaps.

It was my intention to make some with fencing wire and a jig. The jig would allow me to wrap the wire into a premade shape... however, it means Ill need to make a few hundred.... easier buying them :)

Plastic is OK.

Examples of what I was thinking:

I find it quite odd there isn't a lighting clip for colourbond fences just for lights. It strikes me as kinda obvious....

Here are some designs I was thinking of. These were made by a company that is now closed (Big Green Leaf (https://www.pinterest.com.au/biggreenleaf/wall-vertical-gardens/))

Id use 2mm or 3mm fencing wire and loop it around a jig to make them "wide".

They would be mighty useful for hanging things off the fence too....

edit: these get sooooooooo close: https://www.christmaslightsetc.com/pages/Christmas-Light-Clips-Guide.htm

edit 2: Brick clips come close....

IDEA: perhaps I could use cheap rare earth magnets. They would pop onto the fence. I could then use split washers to hang the wire into.

The magnets could be placed anywhere on the fence and wouldn't need to be strong as they are only holding up 60cm (or so) of thin wire....

The split washers could be forced apart a further 2mm to allow the wire to slip in, then the washer is simply put next to the positioned magnet... pop!!

I'd look at chassis clips, they're designed to hold wiring in place on chassis of vehicles and trucks.444638
Should be able to get them from any Auto Parts store, or Auto electricians.
Hope this helps.
