I have several email addresses but all related to my business and long named, trying to find a simple clear one for myself,
Ive spent over an hour trying to find something that is clear, simple and 'me'....yee gawds and little fishes like hunting for a needle in the haystack.

do you really want to conscript "Tonto"?

according to wikipedia
In Italian, Spanish and Portuguese, "tonto" translates as "a dumb person", "moron" or "fool".

seriously, what is objectionable about your own name or an abbreviation thereof?

As far as I can see tontau, tonteu and tonteau are all available if they suite.

[edit] Played with that a bit and clearly that test site is not reliable.

for something like $29 for 3 years you could buy a domain name like @tonto.com or @tonto.com.au

Then you could have whatever you want...I bought StainedGlassPerth.com.au during a sale and paid $9.00 for three years...

I have @customkitchenswa.com, StainedGlassPerth.com.au and @PossumsRun.com

These are then David@ CCWA ,Stained Glass Perth just points to our PossumsRun website and then we have [email protected] and [email protected]

Tonto.com.au won't be available, I wouldn't think. There used to be Tonto Home Loans (how appropriate) which became Firstmac after a big stink.

Lola tells me that it is more used as "idiot" (South American Spanish, anyway). So, ahhh (and without prejudice :D ) the following addresses (english version :D ) DO seem to be available, should you wish to persist with the Tonto theme:
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]

but curiously, [email protected] is taken. Musta been pretty smart to take that one out....

There are some wonderful and weird ideas here, but I thought that Tony wanted to use the moniker by which he is known already as, that being Tonto.

So he is looking for " Tonto@............ ...... ....."

Peter.
