Many of you would know David Attenborough from his Nature shows on T V.
Recently he has been filming in the Antarctic and concentrating on the life of penguins.
Of course many more hours of film are taken that can be included in his documentary.
You may have noticed on his show that there are very few dead penguin in the rookeries.
It is a little known fact that the live penguins find a hole in the ice and push their comrade into the hole to minimise attacks from predatory birds.
This of course is just good house keeping but the remarkable fact is they gather round the hole and 'sing' to their departed friend.
The sound man had close contact with the penguins and heard them singing ---Freeze a jolly good fellow
