EEE Ultra shine + danish oil + shellawax cream

Hi all,

I have just finished a curio display cabinet (I'll place some pictures soon)
My question is related to finishing the cabinet. I have apply a first coat of organoil danish oil last night and will apply the second one tonight
I was reading some threads about finishing and also the ubeaut website and found out that I could use the EEE ultra shine wax on top of the danish oil to enhance the finishing

is there any risk in doing that ?
what type of effect could I expect after applying the EE ultra shine on the cabinet?

Finally after applying the ultrashine and providing the fact that it gives a good result, ubeaut mentionned that it is ready to apply shellawax or shellawax cream.
Could that be done as well knowing that the first 2 layers are danish oil

basically is danish oil + eee ultra shine + shellawax (or cream) a good combination that will give a better result that a simple danish oil?

EEE is a polish, works like super fine sandpaper & can be used on almost anything that can be sanded. It is not a finish.

Shellawax & shellawax cream are friction finishes, if they are not used on the lathe or with a powered mop, they require elbow grease. (rubbing in & buffing off)
They are NOT recommended to go over any other finish.

The Traditional wax can be applied over another finish if you are looking for an oil & wax result.

Using the EEE over the Danish will give a brighter finish as it works like a cut n polish on a dull car finish. However the oil must be hard dry for it to work well.

Do not use Shellawax or Shellawax Cream on this project they are basically designed for use on the lathe and will most likely bring you nothing but grief if used in the way you intend. As Cliff rightly said: "Shellawax & shellawax cream are friction finishes, if they are not used on the lathe or with a powered mop, they require elbow grease." and lots of it!
