A Polish man goes to the motor registry to renew his license. The clerk sits him down and gives him an eye sight test.
The first line is displayed, which the man easily reads.
The second line is also a breeze.
Finally the clerk shows him the last line, with tiny little letters spelling 'C Z W I X N O S T A C Z.'
'Can you read this?' the clerk asked.
'Read it?' the Polish guy exclaims, 'I know the guy!'

The funny thing about Polish sir names is that the spellings were assigned by bored immigration officers on Ellis Island in New York Harbor. During the latter part of the 19th century and the early part of the 20th century there was a huge influx of Polish immigrants to the US. The immigration officers assigned almost impossible spellings to their last names.
