It would be nice if the Therapeutic Goods Administration stopped
issuing warnings about toxic substances and just gave me the
names of one or two things that are still safe to eat.

names of one or two things that are still safe to eat.About 30 years ago there was a technician who developed a BO problem. Thankfully I didn't work in that part of the workshop but others complained to the boss. The boss had a talk with the guy. It turned out he had read that aluminium sulphate in some deodorants can cause Alzheimers so stopped using anything.
