Software update

Hi guys

We have a few software updates to run, planning on upgrading the forum software tonight from about 7pm (25th Oct). There might be some downtime for 10-20 minutes, however, i'm expecting it to be quite straightforward. Following on from this, we'll be able to do some needed updates on the webserver (php/LiteSpeed), database server software, caching software etc.. these will happen in the background and will hopefully deliver some noticeable improvement.

Anyway please use this thread to make us aware of any bugs or issues you encounter after the update.

It's turned out we need to split this job into a few stages. We'll do our best to make sure its done with the least amount of disruption.
