Hi all,

This is Shu. I'm from China. I've been working in building design and construction industry ever since I moved to Melbourne over 10 years ago. I'm new to wood working yet I always have 'something' inside pushing me to make something:P I've watched many, many hours of wood working videos on Youtube.

Now I'm planning to do an indoor tree house for my kids. Maybe I'm not trying hard enough but I find it's quite difficult to find dried but not treated bush poles suppliers in Melbourne.

Is there anywhere you can recommend?

Many thanks.

Thanks Rob. I found one in Mordialoc http://outlast.com.au (http://outlast.com.au/products/posts-poles/bush-poles/). Not close to us. I'm in Greensborough, next door to you. I haven't check it out yet. Can you pls let me know any discovery if you have a chance going there?

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Shu".
There are a stack members across the Melbourne area, quite a few in country Victoria plus lots more across the rest of the country & the world.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork......
Cheers crowie

Hello Shu,
Welcome to the forum, in regards to your desire to obtain untreated logs, I suggest you try your local tree lopper.
If explain what you require the logs for, they may be more sympathetic to your cause.
Good luck with your quest
Gerard
