ordered a cappuccino the other day and watched as the barista did a fancy pattern in the froth.

Why did he then totally cover it with chocolate powder??

A bit like the new neighbour. The previous neighbour spends $25+k on restoring the heritage red brick and bright white tuck point work on their Federation house and even put new tuck point work on the new Federation styled Carport. The new neighbour adds a fibre cement second storey, paints over the whole lot in eucalyptus green and puts Indonesian style tops on the chimneys.

I laugh when they do this to my take away coffee... plastic cap before it comes to me so I can't even see what the pattern was... probably just an excuse to charge an extra dollar for the coffee haha.

Perhaps it's just something the barista enjoys doing/practicing. More power to them if it helps them derive satisfaction from their job.

That would pain me no end Bob. Hate that type of sacrildge!

There is a great old Art Deco pub on the Esplanade in Manly. Some not so bright spark dwcidwd to "modernize"the interior. Vomit!!
