Hi all,
I've recently been working on a Chippendale style end table and am fast approaching the finish line (excuse the pun).
The table has legs which are fluted on two faces. I want to apply a black paint to the flutes before finishing the table with hard shellac. I've purchased a can of satin black spray paint from bunnings (British paints).
Will there be any any issue with the shellac going over the black paint?
The timber is QLD Maple.
Cheers,
