Kids today don't know how easy they have it ... when I was young,
I had to walk through 9 feet of shag carpet to change the TV channel.

My Brother broke his leg in a mining accident, he was staying at Mum's place on the lounge. As there was no remote, he tied a piece of string to the on/off switch, pulling the string for on and used his crutch to switch it off. Changing channels was a case of"MUUUMM".
