Might be an oldie.......

Terry had married a woman from New Zealand, and bragged that he had told his
wife she was going to do all the dishes and house cleaning that needed doing at their house. He said that it took a couple of days
but on the third day he came home to a clean house and the dishes were all washed and put away.

Jimmie had married a woman from England. He bragged that he had given his wife orders that she was to do all the cleaning, dishes, and the cooking. He told them that the first day he didn't see any results, but the next day it was better. By the third day, his house was clean, the dishes were done and he had a huge dinner on the table.

The third man had married a Australian girl. He boasted that he told her that her duties were to keep the house cleaned, dishes washed, lawn mowed, laundry washed and hot meals on the table for every meal.

He said the first day he didn't see anything, the second day he didn't see anything, but by the third day most of the swelling had gone down and he could see a little out of his left eye.

I'm getting rather tired of seeing old jokes reposted. Not to pick on Doublejay but it's happening a lot lately. Dunno what you do about it - doing a search before posting seems overkill, but we all need to remember that the internet might be a big place but the good jokes tend to swamp it. Methinks a wee bit of care is needed before posting, especially as it's amazing how quickly someone comes back with the first post

A search on searching will indeed direct the searcher in the direction of searching. Searches on searches mislead the searcher to believe thats searching for searches is the only effective search method availbale for searching. The searcher needs to remember that searching for searches is indeed only one method of searching available to the searcher.

Don't belive me? Do a search!

Ease up a bit Daddles, do a search before posting something lighthearted for others to have a laugh at?

Getting a mite grumpy, mate. There's always someone who hasn't heard one before.

Downside? Bit of wasted time for those of us who've heard it. Upside? Someone has a giggle, thread generates a few responses, and we all keep communicating.

No beef mate, just a bit of perspective.

Cheers................Sean

There's always someone who hasn't heard one before.

At last, someone with a sense of humour and some common sense. If the Jokes forum was limited to new jokes the forum would have long since disappeared. I reckon that a good joke is ALWAYS worth sharing whether I heard it at my father's knee or it arrived in an email five minutes ago.

This topic has been covered before so Doug and Iain both need to do a search.
