Hello Ladies and Gents.

Been doing woodworking for about 2 or 3 years. It was a subject I really enjoyed in high school and thoght I would love to do "one day". I am mid-40s now. I started simple and worked my way slowly into more complex projects. Been mostly doing furniture pieces for the house.

Recently moved into a newly built house so I have a clean slate to work with. I can see myself doing lots of project pieces, I want to get them right and make them "perfect", so I'll be asking for lots of advice.

Pictures of a few projects I have done..

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "prty-pants"....
There are quite a few members in Perth, across West as well as across the whole country & the globe.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Great lot of photos of your handiwork, best add some new threads to show them off.
Keep showing off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork..

Nice work, I like the chess table. Is it pine and jarrah?

Yes. It is pine and jarrah for the chess squares, and meranti also included in the border. The middle part of the table pops out and flips over with s Stratego board on the other side.

Beaut work. Looks like the two drawers open on each invidiaul side for the opposing players. Well thought out design.
