Hi guys, I'm Joe from Melbourne. I've been lurking in the shadows for a while looking at all your awesome machinery, sheds and projects. I'm a carpenter by day who likes making furniture at home in my spare time. I only have my carpentry tools at the moment (the stuff you carry in a ute) but eventually I want to deck my garage out in all the expensive immovable stuff.
I started making us a dining table on the weekend and I've made a few bedheads and bedside tables too.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170426/05828fbb64b7a7656a872f8fd3af1324.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170426/21a05c31fe219475f645907a327e1c7f.jpg

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Joe".
There are a stack members across the Melbourne area, quite a few in country Victoria plus lots more across the rest of the country & the world.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork......
Cheers crowie
PS - Keep an eye out on the forum for the Melbourne Get Togethers as they're a great way to meet like minded folk..
Also that project deserves it's own thread were more folk will get to see it and assist....

Hi Joe and welcome to the forum
Being a carpenter I'm sure you will be able to ""deck the garage out in all the expensive immovable stuff.""
That partitioned herring bone design is quite attractive .... the subframe is indeed robust ... you must be expecting some wild parties:)
Regards
