Hi All,
I am CS from Malaysia. Extreme newbie in woodworking and been enjoying some small projects for the past 1 year. Built a wardrobe, some bedside stands, mostly from sheet goods. Started dabbling in solid wood recently and realized i really enjoy this new hobby. Keeps me sane from all the hustle and bustle of the day time job.
Good thing in Malaysia is wood is relatively cheap. Bad is tools choices are limited.
Tools im using right now
1. Table saw - just got myself a new Bosch GTS10J and made a table with extensions to the side. Still sourcing for the profile rail to extend the fence system
2. Crappy drill press JET table top drill press
3. Crappy trim router 1/4" Skil. Did a router table extended from the table saw table.
4. Common tools drills, pocket hole jig, table saw jigs for cross cut, spline cut, etc. etc..
Looking forward to learning from here and hopefully eventually contribute.
Cheers!
