When taking my two grandchildren to school on Wednesday mornings
I usually give them a "joke for today". My latest effort was, "What pie
would you not eat for dinner"? The answer was magpie which they
thought was ok.
My six year old grandson asked if I would like to hear a "ghost joke"
to which I replied, "I would love to hear a ghost joke".
He then enthusiastically said, "That's the spirit".
Now I am worried that I will have to compete with him at
family gatherings to get the odd laugh.
