Have decided on a Bosch PEX 400 AE ROS, but I am not sure about the finishing sander. Am looking for advice on brand and size.

Initially I'd just try finer paper with the Bosch sander -- up to 240, 320 or 400 depending on the finish you intend to use.
If your PEX-400 is similar to this one https://www.bosch-do-it.com/nz/en/diy/tools/pex-400-ae-3165140594479-199908.jsp it has a 2.5 mm orbit which IMO is finishing size already
