Thats what I found after I had been in a few times but real interesting stuff. Maybe try it later tonight when their day rolls over in the states or early in the morning.

Hey!

I run the site... It will be back up at 3:00 AM Eastern. Sorry for the inconvenience! :) Had over 3,000 visitors just to that one video today!

Anyone know where I can get some cheap but good hosting with more than 5 Gb data transfer/day? I checked out Glob@t, which offers the exact same as my host now, but for twice the money. Any advice greatly appreciated!

Web servers store referer details, so if someone clicks on the url link there is a record of where the link came from in the web server logs. Most hosting control panels and log parsers will show the site owner these details.

hope that helps

Howdy, sorry mate you have lost me a little in this. I gather you are trying to get the attention of the website guy not me.

Happy to answer anything I have a clue about though.

cheers

Hey!

Well, I do know a thing or two about grabbing people's information, (for the purposes of showing other people how to not become victims), but sbranden's right. I monitor where the traffic is coming to the site from, because I like to know who's linking in, and I like to see what they have to say about what I'm attempting to do (help people realize that prevention is good, but not good enough).

I use www.sitemeter.com (http://www.sitemeter.com/), as well as traffic monitors on the site itself.

Hope that's helpful!

Thanks again for the link. Glad you found it useful!

Did you enter your e-mail address as requested at the end of the video?

Why did I find that this was asked for just a tad suspicious?

Ho Hum. You have to be so darned careful, eh!

Cheers Bazza!

As the operator of IdentityTheftSecrets, I can assure you that anyone who puts in their email address, into a form anywhere, on any site I run, is never sold, traded, or otherwise used by anyone but me.

I haven't sent out an email on the newsletter list (the sign up at the end of the video) for over a week now, so if you're getting SPAM about Identity Theft, it's because there are thousands of companies offering "insurance" products that, while good, don't really address helping people get their identities back.
(If you're really interested, you can find out more about that through the series of videos here... www.identitytheftsecrets.com/solution (http://www.identitytheftsecrets.com/solution))

Just wanted to clear it up... no SPAM coming from IdentityTheftSecrets.

Thanks!
