Hi all

I'm in Sheffield, Northern England and am 58 years old, I almost came to the beautiful Oz land when I was a kid, We were to come over on the £10 transport thing, My old dad thought it would be by areoplane, When he realised it would be by boat he backed out!! He couldn't swim and six weeks on a ship would be more than he could have endured!! :p:-

So, We ended up staying here in Blighty :C:doh:

Anyhow, I love making stuff with wood/metal etc, I've bought loads of tools over the years but can't get to use them at the moment as one of my sheds collapsed so the contents were crammed in to the other shed and the garage!!

I'll hopefully have a new shed up next weekend so i'll be able to get a workshop set up finally!!

Cheers, John :)

Oh, I bought a lovely little old Arcoy Dovetailing jig this morning from a carboot sale for just £4, It came with all three cutters and instructions!!

John I have been an advocate of the "alternate universe" for quite some time. I really thought I was going mad (insane) but the occurrences are so wide spread that that I think it will be only a matter of time before "they" will take us too!!! But I suppose after we are tested they will reject us because they will realise WE are mad and can't be "fixed"

There is an awful lot of Poms out here. They are every where.....infiltrating our fabric of life.....and enjoying the light and warmth. I for one am looking for the warmth, even though we have had a reasonably mild winter. (No I'm not a Pom. My predecessors have been here for 160 years. Originally from Yorkshire)

Cheers from On Top DownUnder, crowie

PS - Sounds like you could do with a bigger shed or better still send some of your extras this way....:rolleyes::B
