Hi all
l'm planning installing a new bathroom window. House is brick veneer. Existing window has a hardwood reveal.
I am considering my options for window material and whether to extend the tiling onto the window sills because space is tight between the shower and window opening - so thought it might be better not to use architraves. The window will be outside the shower enclosure.
I've got two queries:
1) Can I install an aluminium window without attached reveals in brick veneer? I,be seen a cheap window on gumtree with trashed mdf reveals - can I just remove them and reuse the window?
2) if I want to carry the tiling from the wall on to the window sill and up the sides ( I.e. Where the reveal usually is) do I do this using a window with wooden reveals or not?
Open to other suggestions.
