Just joined after visiting the forum stall at the Sydney WWW show. I live in the southern highlands south of Sydney.

I am interested in making a wooden rocking horse for my little grandson. This will not be a fully sculptured horse but a profile type. My request is how to find some plans to choose from? I know some are available on line but I thought first to ask forum members so if you have any ideas please get back.

Regards

Dorrigo

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Dorrigo".
There are a stack members across the Sydney area plus the rest of the country.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork......
Cheers crowie

PS - Check out the Toymaking section of the forum for your toy plans question and many projects...

Keep an eye out for a get together at Katoomba for the Sydney area forum members....great way to met & make friends.

GREAT NEWS that you got to the Sydney Wood Show and have joined the forum......

Welcome to the forum Dorrigo.
It is great to see some feedback from having the stand at the wood show, makes it even more worthwhile (apart from being a meeting place for existing forumites).

Good luck with the rocking horse build, as Crowie would say, "don't forget the photos"!
