Before you take your drawers to the shop for a sanding try this easy fix.

I know this sounds stupid and pardon the use of Imperial measurements.
When making drawers without runners or slides, a too small of a drawer may seem to stick. Normally a 1/32 inch on each side is perfect clearance with about 1/16 inch top to bottom clearance is about perfect. Go up a bit to 1/16 on each side the drawer may seem to stick as it can get skewed when pulling it in and out.
So what happens if you make the drawer too small? Use some old fashioned thumb tacks to make the opening a bit smaller. Thumb tacks are really intended for use on bulletin boards and temporary placement of posters, etc. The unpainted type are the best for this usage.

Best way to fix this if it hasn't gone to far is to plane down the drawer runners to make them even and glue a strip of laminate to the carcass and then run some wax over both surfaces. After this you may need to add some spacers at the top of the opening so the front of the drawer does not drop down to far when opened.

That sounds like it would work really well. If I did that and didn't tell my Wife she'd likely pull the drawer out onto the floor the first time after the fix :)
