SWMBO phoned our 12-year-old son from work, and asked him to go down to
the laundry and take the clothes out of the washer and put them into the dryer.

About 20 minutes later, he phoned her back and asked her if she would
like him to turn the dryer on.

----------- Today's saying or thought -------------------------

A husband is someone who, after taking the trash out,
gives the impression that he just cleaned the whole house.

Why blame the 12 year old thats just common sense, never do anything with out mums permission,
When I was a 13 year old mum had christmas fruit cake in the oven, she asked if I could have a look at it, yup did that, 15 minutes later the smell of burnt fruit cake permeated the house...........'why didnt you pull it out?' " der... mother you asked me to look at it".

When it come to laundry machinery, the only thing that I am allowed to do is to move the machinery.

As for the logic of the kid. . .

Once you start micro managing anyone, you will continue to micro manage them. I drove my parents crazy with, "You said,. . . And I did."

I think the young bloke was quite within his rights. When it comes to flicking the switch, that is an important part of the instruction.

I am often asked "When you are free..."

I'm not free, I charge for my time!
