A friend has a ticket for the State of Origin game.
Unfortunately, it clashes with his wedding - do you know anyone who wants to get married?

well in hindsight, I probably would have been better off watching Qld thrash Nsw than getting married, but that was not an option at the time.
I was married on the golf course behind the 9th green and the reception was in the club house. the original plan was for me and the best man to play the front nine, pause for the ceremony, then play the back nine and be back in time for the reception. When that plan was overturned, I should have seen the danger signs and called it all off.
Since then I have been convinced that girlfriends are more fun than wives and I will not make that mistake again
