Multiple trunks or boles sprouting from ground level (each trunk still has branches like any other Eucalypt), coming from a common lignotuber.

Mallee - Eucalyptus, family: Myrtaceae. It's in the growth form - generally smaller trees, but typically with at least two major branches emerging from ground level.
