Just putting it out there, I'm looking at talking my parents to the Maleny Wood Expo this year, mainly for my father for he was a very avid woodworker in his prime, but now at 92 he is a lot slower in body but not in mind, and it was something he would gone to if he had the time when was younger. but here is my concern, dad now uses a walker to get around "not all the time, when mums not looking" I see that there is wheelchair access but what about walkers. any other members going or have been that can give me some pointers

Thanks in advance

The stalls are either side of a road of sorts but basically a walker should be fine. Some displays are within building but all have ramps to my knowledge. Some stalls are set up on grassed areas that get slippery and muddy but I would have thought the walker would be ok there too. Plenty of areas for scones jam and cream with a tea or coffee whilst seated to rest too.

As long as it doesn't rain and roads heading to and from for me don't get blocked like last year I'll be there.
