Does anyone know if these are termite droppings?

I've found little piles of black powder on the skirting board which seems to be dropping down from the window trim. It doesn't seem like the classic drywood termite droppings I can find on the internet, and was hoping someone here might have some suggestions? The underlying wall is standard treated pine construction. We live in the Blue mountains NSW.
