Beam end Rotten, ideas on what I can do??

Hi Everyone,

I have attached a photo of the front of my house where a beam sticks out the end and the end is rotten, what are my options when it comes to fixing this issue, I am hoping its not too bad and its only the end part.

Can I cut the beam off at the end and bog up and render over?
