I like post straight away so I don't get distracted and loose any content.
I then edit to correct wording and spelling mistakes and comment on photos after rearranging them.
But, lately, I can't seem to edit a post I just submitted.
Please, can someone help?
Thanks in advance.

How funny.
I just edited this post but could't edit the last few posts in this thread:
http://www.woodworkforums.com/f56/helping-design-plans-sided-plant-pyramid-202125#post1927389
Nor this one:
http://www.woodworkforums.com/f56/test-thread-cant-edit-posts-anymore-202475
So it might be the forum: DESIGNS & PLANS FOR PROJECTS
Thanks again.

Both of the threads you have trouble with are tapatalk/mobile based. Could this be the problem?

Stop using Tapatalk and try the default mobile skin, a laptop, desktop or other similar computer that doesn't use tapatalk which does seem to have more than a couple of flaws.
Have a go with something else and let me know how you get on. There is no problem with your registration of forum permissions. The problem will be at your end and almost certainly with Tapatalk.

Thanks Neil,
I can edit posts on this forum but not that one.
Doesn't matter what platform or browser.

Not on the other Plans forum.
Can you please test by posting a reply here and editing it?

You can edit a post in this forum but not the one you linked to.
The one you linked to is marked as a tabbed tapatalk forum.
Doesn't this point to the problem being with the use of tapatalk in a tapatalk forum?

I can edit a post in this forum with tapatalk.
But I can not edit a post in the other forum with tapatalk.

Neil,
On any of the sub forums of "TABBED FORUMS FOR TAPATALK - For mobile use only.LIBRARY " my posting permission show " You may not edit your posts ".
I don't use Tapatalk but got to this area through the drop down box to Library.
Been raised before in this thread (http://www.woodworkforums.com/f36/wheres-edit-post-button-gone-187422). That may help.
Peter.

Are you accessing DESIGN & DESIGNING / GOOGLE SKETCHUP (http://www.woodworkforums.com/f112) through the library or through the SPECIAL INTERESTS (http://www.woodworkforums.com/f162) section where it originates from which works fine.
Just had a look and it looks like you are posting in the wrong forum DESIGNS & PLANS FOR PROJECTS. Which is supposed too be for plans that are already done.
Those forums are non editable try posting in the above mentioned forum instead, in the mean time I have changed the permissions for the DESIGNS & PLANS FOR PROJECTS to make posts editable for Full Members only.

Neil,
I was accessing DESIGNS & PLANS FOR PROJECTS through the LIBRARY in the drop down box from the FORUM button at the left on the top bar of the main menu and not through the Special Interest menu.

Just wanted to post a big thanks to each and every one trying to help for their time and effort.
Much appreciated.
My original thread had been moved to the more appropriate General forum where immediate updates are allowed.
