What has motivated me to join is that I've just bought a Durden Pacemaker 12" saw table at a clearing sale. I'm currently questioning the wisdom of my buy, while the saw is much more accurate it does not seem as versitile as my Triton Workcenter :C that I've had for many years now. I'm very interested in chatting with anyone else who owns one of these for some clues as to how best to make full use of its capabilities as I'm keen to put it into action.

Welcome to the forum.
There is a sub-section on the forum for table saws. http://www.woodworkforums.com/f153
It would be better to start a new thread in that sub-forum. Also try doing a search on the forum for your particular saw.

I had a Durden Pacemaker 10" though. I used the saw, jointer but not the spindle moulder attachments as they looked dangerous. Duodenum were the Roll's Royce back in their day. Not sure if yiu can run a dado blade though.
My wife's family is from your way (Kadina) and we lived in the region for a number of years.

Welcome from SYP.
I've just bought one of those but couldn't find a manual. it had no blade so I've just fitted an old blade.
the planer seems ok and the jointer gives a nice clean cut. I'm hoping you get lots of replies so I can learn a bit about it.

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "JustResting".
There are a lot of members in and around Adelaide and across Sth Aust.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork ..
Cheers crowie
PS - May I suggest you add a new thread with your table saw questions in machinery or general sections to gain a wider audience and thus answers....

Thanks for the welcome guys, appreciate it !
Crowie suggests I show some pics of what I do, I've mainly been involved in construction type joinery rather than the finer work often associated with furniture and craft type work. For the past 9 years I've been building a steel framed, wood & iron weekender on our block in the mid north. The biggest hurdle so far has been the staircase, pretty happy with it so far - pics attached
