have posted a couple of posts re doing this pop top van roof replacement
but got more questions that people might be able to help me with
using lysght panel roofing as the roof ,
been on their website , and from what i can see , is a max of 900 mm between roof supports , is 4300 long 2300 wide , panels run front to rear ,cross beams /rafter ( 45 x 45 pine ) i was going to put approx every 700 should be plenty off support shouldn't it ? will work on adding extra bracing etc as well if needed view 1
but am wondering if as frame is going to be fixed to 12mm ply sheets ( interior ceiling ) would i need as much support ? looking at this from reducing weight . view 2
original ceiling was only 3ply was going to go to 12 mm sheets but thinking that over kill , could i get away with 9 mm ?
