I just think that it is rather ironic that a group against vaccination is holding a protest at the Melbourne Zoo, where every animal is vaccinated.

I find it more ironic that, statistically, some of the anti-jab fruit loops are alive BECAUSE they were vaccinated. Thankfully, stupidity isn't contagious.

I see that Australia has the same escapees from the gene pool running amuck as we do.
As I understand it, the author of the original paper in the UK has had his medical license revoked because of the Rubella Vaccination / Autism link paper.
It is amazing how much damage a single published incorrect pseudo scientific paper can do.

They have probably not seen a baby suffering whopping cough, the long term effects of German Measles (my MIL is one for life) or Polio.
At school they may not have read "I Can Jump Puddles" and perhaps they can voice their views due to lots of other people (and perhaps themselves) being vaccinated. Maybe the saying 'would not work in an iron lung' could be applied.
