PM me if you're a reliable and competent woodworker able to make a bench seat for a Hobart coffee shop.
It must be 2.00metres wide X 0.9metre high (back) from floor and standard seat height. Hardwood frame essential. It will be fixed to a wall. Must be upholstered in genuine leather as per photo. Quotes please from anyone interested.

Indicative budget range is $1,800 - $2,200. The buyer will collect from anywhere in Tassie.
cheers

Gday John. I'll see what I can come up with and send to you in the next couple of days. I do it myself but too expensive to ship to Hobart from here on the Mornington Peninsula.

Doubt you will find an individual who can do the whole job.
There is a collective of furniture designers and makers in North Hobart called DOT. (Designed objects Tasmania).
Perhaps you could get in contact with them to see if there is anyone up for the quest?

I may be out of touch but would have thought the upholstery would easily cost that alone

Think moisture resistant MDF or particle board (kitchen cabinet stuff) for the plinth and construction grade pine (screwed or stapled together) for the seat frame. The real dollars are in the upholstery, which is probably leather look vinyl

oops missed the "genuine leather" bit in the original post

My apologies John. I forgot all about this. Busy. The guy I posted this for had it done down south. Thanks anyway for your interest.
Keep well
Mike.
