He spoke to his mum and she said a tool

They know I like to collect things. Though i dont know how it would stand up to real use I am very pleased with the thought behind and will treasure it

How cool is that. It will look great in my tool cabinet. I'll be down in a few weeks to collect. [emoji2]
It's hard to determine how big it is. Is it full size?
Pete.

I know that you know the code Dave, but you are less than likely to tell me. But on the other hand, Sawdustmaker could be bribed.[emoji48]

Now I re-read it and you could be right.
In any case, I'll find a way to break in to the safe. Im thinking chains and the 4WD could do the trick.[emoji356][emoji592]

That could do it

I have one of those hammers. Actually, a bit disappointed to see this one. I thought mine was a one off collectable, probably made as an apprentices project in the 40's or so.
I'll try and dig it out and bring it to the GTG for comparison purposes.

Quite a useful looking tool, all the same.

Alan..

Too nice a gift to actually use as a hammer onsite or in the shed Dave...Got to go in the display cabinet to show it off...IMHO....Cheers, Peter

The sort of first tool when you have no others, or as a last resort when you can not put your hands on your better tools.
You might be able to put a flat pack together with it, but I don't know if I would build a wall cabinet with it.

Well thought out.

I think it has post the integrity with which it was originally made. The concept I like. I like the thught with whih it was given too. I could see Jack's excitement as I opened it.

This defeats the old adage of,

When all you have is a hammer then every screw looks like a nail.

Many years ago, my business partner and I used to take on work-release inmates from the local juvenile correction centre for a couple of months work experience in the building trade prior to their release.
One particular young bloke never said a word for the entire time he spent with us. He was a very troubled soul. On the last day he offered me his tobacco pouch to roll a smoke. I took out a tallyho paper and passed the pouch back. I still carry that paper in my wallet and have done for last forty two years. You may find your hammer will be a bit like that.
