How about "Gonad Vise Ugly"?

Sounds like some kind of a warning for woodies not to get things caught in the clamp.:2tsup:

Amongst 39,143 choices, the one I liked was 'A Plane Contest' .
Sort of fits alright for a woodworking forum.

Well I just tested the anagram generator to see if it would reproduce my favorite and possibly best name anagram of all time...

... and it failed.

I remember reading in a newspaper back in the mid-1970's that an anagram from the name of our former Labor Party Prime Minister, Gough Whitlam was "Go hug with Mal", referring to the Liberal Prime Minister, Malcolm Frazer, who replaced Gough after the famous Double Dissolution of the Parliament by the then Governor-General, Sir John Kerr.

Even at the age of 16, the thought of these two political giants embracing formed a very unlikely, but extremely memorable mind picture for me.

But when I type in "gough whitlam" "go hug with mal" does not come out. What other gems are we missing?

Cheers

Doug

Try on your user name or add your last name ;)

I did, and found that there are some very naughty words generated, which obviously cannot be repeated here, but quite funny, all the same.

Wow! 15605.

The 2nd anagram, "Declaring loon", pretty much sums me up.

"Cleaning drool" or "drool cleaning" - what I do at school after the students have left for the day.
"Carolling done" - I'll save this one for tomorrow...
"Gorilla conned" - fooling myself into believing I've lost weight.
"A cod enrolling" -cod being my initials and teaching my profession, this one is pretty good too.
"Cedar long loin" - he he, got wood...

I'm getting <1000 for either my handle or real name.

But this one did seem appropriate: "Sawmills I Irk" :D
