Hi everyone!
I'm looking to do a structural reno, hiring a registered builder to do the job. I've got a few questions about PC items. I've heard that one way to keep costs a bit lower when using a builder is to source the PC items yourself (or pick which item/model number and builder can buy with his trade discount).
With items I've sourced myself, what happens to the builders' warranty? Eg if I pick up doors second-hand, what then? What if the doors are new, but off ebay? What about if they're from some cheap company that goes bust in a years' time?
