I know it sounds a bit unbelievable, but I am having trouble finding a place to buy the right string.

I am re-doing some wooden slatted blinds that are around 10 years old, the string holding them together has perished from wear and being outdoors.

Is the said string. It seems to be polyester and just simple wound.

I am thinking I need about 200m to do the job.

When I look at Bunnings there is lots of string and rope but nothing like this. Searching online brings up everything from string theory to instruments and everything in between. I get a hit on the right stuff but I don't want to have to bring it in from China, surely I am missing something simple here?
