Over the weekend I decided to properly go through my sanding discs and see where the gaps were ready for my kitchen benchtop project. Seeing as there a few holes and that I had nothing over 400 grit I decided to hit up one of the forum advertisers, The Sandpaper Man. I had a real good look through the catalogue, sighed, and decided to only buy what I needed, not wanted .
Although the majority of my needs were available the 800 & 1200 grits were out of stock so I was expecting to have to track them down from elsewhere. I was therefore very pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call this morning; he had noticed the gap in my order and because he had received new stock this morning he was able to supply the missing grits if I so wanted. No pushy sell, no offer of anything similar or would I be interested in something only vaguely related to my order, he simply asked if I would like the missing grits that had been out of stock.
That kind of cold calling I can live with!
