Hi, I am not familiar with Brisbane, and hope to go to the Wood Show next Friday, driving in from Ipswich. Can anyone please tell me the best way to get there during peak hour traffic, and the best places to park so that I don't have far to walk to put my purchases in the car?

If you have an iPhone tap the maps icon and type in your directions or purchase a street directory in case you get lost.
These are the directions I looked up for you. As you come towards Brisbane after merging onto the Ipswich Motorway travel 12.5klm and take Exit 28 to merge onto M5, after 12klm keep right on Legacy Way, continue onto Inner City Bypass M3, take exit Kelvin Grove towards Herston Road, 250m turn left into Gilchrist Avenue, 200m turn right onto Herston Road, turn right onto Bowen Bridge Road, 300m turn left into Gregory Terrace. The map does not say how to get to the woodwork show from there but someone will tell you on this forum.
Also they may want to refine my directions as I do not live in Brisbane these days and it changes constantly with all those bloody tunnels.
As they say all care taken with my directions, but no responsibility.

Thanks guys, I should be able to get on to Gregory Terrace now, but what building in the Show Grounds is the venue, and where is the nearest parking?
See attached image I just found below

Hi Dave, many thanks for going to this trouble. Another classic case of a picture being worth a thousand words!! I now feel comfortable about getting there, except of course for the traffic from Ipswich. If Tom-Tom can't find that nearest intersection of Gregory Tce and Alexandria St, it is going out the window at high speed.
