Hi,

My name is Mike, I'm a welder with an interest in (very) basic woodwork, with a view to making some steel/wood furniture one day. I see there is a significant metal working component to this forum. I'll hopefully fit in somewhere. For anyone interested in antique machine tools, I have a small shaper that was recoed about 16 years ago and probably used about 14 years back. I'm mainly passionate about welding, and moderate another forum, as well as running the Awesome boileys page on facebook. Mick.

Thanks everyone. I thought I posted a thanks earlier, but evidently I pushed the wrong button. I hope to hang out around here in the future, especially when I start making furniture.
