Hi, is there any way of accepting credit cards at markets without the expense & formal rigmarole involved as a CC merchant.

Online is easy enough via Paypal.

Yeap, you take their credit card, ask them to sign a blank piece of paper & don't give the credit card back. :D

Trick is, you have to somehow convince them NOT to cancel the card.

The local computer market has 1 credit card internet unit at the enterance you go there with the bill pay then take the reciept back to the vendor who gives you the goods . Of course diffrent price for cash.
It works as the orginazers run this as a service to the vendors as they should they charge enough for a stall.

Earth is the insane asylum for the universe.

What 'Ashore' said. You need a 'friendly' CC merchant, which is basically what PayPal is, specially the inverted commas.

So, you gunna open an Oz version of PP?
