Hi All,
I want to save a thread of around 131 posts with lots of attachments and can't work out how to do it. I have saved the link to the thread but no doubt sometime that will expire.
Help please

Which sub-forum is the thread in?

Hi Christos
It is in the CNC Machines sub forum.

I looked at the CNC sub-forum and can see threads started way back in 2005. I don't think this is an expiring sub-forum. The link that you saved will still be valid when you want to refer back to the thread.

Do you mean download the entire thread and save it?
If so I don't think there is away of do this in one action.

Rod, the only way I know is to use Thread Tools-> Show Printable Version then print that to a pdf file.
You will have to do that for each page of the thread but from memory there is an option to increase the number of posts displayed on each page.
(Edit: Just looked, yes you can increase posts per page to 40 by clicking on that option in the top rh corner)
Photos in-line, ie in the post proper will print, but photos as attachments will need to be downloaded separately. they can then be inserted in the right place in the pdf (if you have Adobe Acrobat or similar)
Other attachments need to be downloaded separately as well.
Hope this helps.
