Hey all,
I'm Ben from Brisbane, really new to woodworking but really keen to get some decent projects underway. As soon as I can find some mango wood I'm going to start on a tv unit with a coffee table and hallway table shortly to follow if all goes well. Not looking to rush anything but really motivated to see what I can produce.

Cheers!

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Ben".
There are a stack of members in Brisbane and across S.E. Queensland plus the rest of the country.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork...
Cheers crowie

Thanks guys :) I've already learnt a heap just from reading different threads! I picked up a whole heap of mango wood today and have started building a rustic look small table, approx 700x800x450. I'll post pictures once I'm finished. Having a blast already!!
Cheers.

Hey all, so I finished my coffee table, it's not the best picture and the tung oil is still soaking in here but you get the idea.
cheers :)
