Water level sensor switch

I have been on the lookout for a compact water level sensor and having no luck. I need it for a macerator pump as the vacuum switches keep failing. I don't want a float type of switch but just a simple electronic probe type. I know I can get an aquarium water sensor alarm but then there is the hassle of modifying the circuit to drive a relay.
Any help appreciated.
