We've got around 20 x large sheets of glass for disposal. These sheets have been removed from some picture frames as they make the artwork ridiculously heavy.
Largest size is approx 1600x800mm. Most are 5mm thick.
Do any rubbish disposal companies specialise in handling glass or will anyone take this? Any recommendations?

If I was in Sydney I would take them in a flash.

Put it on Ebay, it's worth good money.

What Silent said.

You will probably be asked if it is "safety" glass, if it has any tint or the anti glare finish. If it is then it should be worth more.

If you are not a big fan of eBay check the phone book for any local glaziers as I'm sure the would be interested.

See if local glaziers are interested. Called "salvage" glass in the bizz,
you'll get something for it, better than waiting and crazy shipping, possibly.
I usually ask for salvage when I buy glass.
