G'day All

I wasn't sure where to put this post as there is not an insulation or structural insulating panel (SIP) category.

While on eBay the other day I came across DIY Affordable Homes selling Lightweight Precast Sandwich / Concrete Panels

Lightweight Precast Sandwich Concrete Panels | eBay (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Lightweight-Precast-Sandwich-Concrete-Panels/221484755613?_trksid=p3984.c100052.m2206&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140131105218%26meid%3D8792944819811297967%26pid%3D100052%26prg%3D20140131105218%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D181479514276)

When I followed the link to their webpage DIY Affordable Homes (http://www.diyaffordablehomes.com.au/#!lightweight-concrete-panels/c1lqk) I was surprised to read the R value claimed for the panel.

According to the "manufactures tests" a 60mm panel has an R vale of 7.69. This appears very high compared to EPS (polystyrene) which for a 50mm panel has an R value of 1.28 (for VH class).

Is this some new wonder insulation or are the "manufactures tests" much more "generous" than AS 2464?

I would be interested in others opinions or at least let me know what I am missing.
