Airbrush for various wood projects

For some unknown :C reason I decided to buy an Airbrush.
I build a few Guitars,wooden boxes etc and had this "great" idea I can use it to to sunburst finishes and different patterns etc ?

Do any of you use an Airbrush - For finishing or designs on your projects ?

I've done a bit of airbrushing - mostly on paper, but occasionally on wooden projects. I mostly put paint through the airbrush, but have occasionally put some clear finish or stain through it. It's great for sunburst type finishes, but make sure you wear good breathing protection. Last time I put stain in the airbrush, I all but gave myself a Jarrah tan from the overspray.
