I have always loved Australia and like to see how other wood
workers work and the tools others use. I have been doing some
reading and find there are many words you fellows use that I
don't understand. I am looking forward to learning from y'all,
thanks for allowing me to be a part of your forum.

G'Day & Welcome to the Great Southern Land and to a top forum "Jim".
There are quite a few members from across the USA and the rest of the world.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Especially a top mob of blokes on the toymaking & scale modeling section of the forum.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork.....
Cheers from On Top DownUnder, crowie

I'm one of those USies and have been learning these blokes language somewhat. Great place here, lots of strange names for woods they use. You will enjoy it here, Mate...
But, you know you and I probably speak a little differently, I'm from the NW part of the US.
Welcome to the forum.

Not sure if he is Trever, I was communicating with him years ago and I was to drop in and see him on one of my trips to Tennessee, but I got injured and didn't see him. I stopped getting emails from him.
Rgds,
