I have tried to see highlights of the game on the telly, and they are all just brushing over it. Showing a 3 second snip.

I put the loss down to karma

We deliberately let Bangladesh beat us, just so we'd know what it felt like to be beaten by the poms :D

It's all part of the strategy. Keep Brett Lee out for the first couple of matches. Get a couple of the boys to muck up a bit off the pitch, Symonds is always good for that. Even Warney's doing his bit and he's not in the side. Get the Brit media worked up into a frenzy about these badly behaved Aussie louts, poor form blah blah. Then quietly wheel out McGrath and Lee, with a sprinkle of Hogg, let Symonds off the leash, tell Martyn to start batting with both hands again. I love it when a plan comes together.

The thing I notice is that every time a team tours anywhere they start out really poorly. Any team in any country. After a couple of weeks they get themselves sorted out and start to play decent cricket. Get their act together whatever.

Seems pretty early to be announcing anything except Australia didn't play up to their potential as yet.

Oh, by the way, dashing good show at the cricket.

I understand that the Brit officials were concerned that an aussie whitewash of the series might dampen the mood in the old dart and so they requested that we lose a few games. Knowing how difficult that is to do, especially considering the opposition (not to mention Bangladesh), and knowing that our boys tend to forget political subtleties, our boys decided to get the losses over and done with first so they could concentrate on playing the game.

Cheers
Richard

any similarity between the above scenario and reality is purely hysterical and you should go take your green pill now :D

It appears that Mr Warne has adopted a fine Royal Navy tradition with regard to this statement, 'when we cross the equator we discard our winter uniform and marriage vows and pick them up again on the return voyage'.

6. Warnie is not the Messiah, he's just a naughty boy!

Returning to the workshop today after much pestering of wife. I need to make a stool (4 legged type) to rest my feet on, this will stop me crossing the old legs at the computer.

Actually I am most probably fitter now than 4 weeks ago. The ticker is getting more oxygen. So if anyone notices in themselves that they are puffing or slowing down , have a think about it.

Richard. Thankyou from the bottom of my heart. You've made my day! I've been trying to sound serious and sensible ever since I got embroiled in the great "Do a Search" controversy.
Woody. You must be careful, and don't watch too much cricket, bad for the heart now that the world has righted itself and our team has resumed it's normal winning ways (even Warnie!)

I dont really follow the cricket so dont give a rats who wins, however it is nice to see someone besides australia win occasionally.
