Hi everyone, I am an old woodworker (amateur) from way back but never had much time or suitable space for a long enough time to get really into it. Also have too many hobbies. I am operating a Taxi Ute business here on the Sunshine Coast and are delivering some disgxxxing stuff from time to time for various retail outlets. Imagine putting a bed frame in a customers bedroom together when nothing matches and threads are stripped ………..
Anyway I have decided to get back into it and maybe also sell some of the stuff for extra income. I have already quite a lot of tools, ( DeWalt compound mitre saw, DeWalt router, DeWalt biscuit jointer, Festool jigsaw, Festool dust extractor, etc. ) I will be purchasing some more Festool equipment in May, mainly plunge saw and Domino as well as a good RO sander and a MFT bench.

My weak point is finishing and spraying. Lot's of learning for me in these areas. One finish I would like to perfect is the white wash, beach timber look, distressed, maybe with a bit of turquoise bluish tinge. I hope you understand what I mean.
Anyway I will be reading lots of other members reports and hope to pick up as much as possible. But I also want to be able to ad my valuable input and help other members with my experiences if I can.
So just bear with me for a while, I will have to be very nice to my wife next month so she does not kill me when I come home with my latest purchases ……………

Thanks for your replies, especially for the info re the Cooroora Wood Show. I will try to get there, if possible. Fridays and Saturdays are usually my busiest days but hopefully I can rearrange a few things.
